I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight whilst there for Pucks for Autism with my Bro-in-law, beastie and son. It poured a dark amber with thin off white ring head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bold roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with roasty presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.
Kinda wanna know the story behind the name here... Anyway, this stuff pours a dark auburn-black-brown topped by about a finger or so of off-white foam. The nose comprises light cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malts, and light coffee. The taste holds notes of dark chocolate, roasted malts, very light coffee, and light molasses. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a kinda dry finish. Overall, a very nice, straightforward, little porter. Went well with the Smoke Daddy burger...
