Served in a nonic pint glass at the brewpub.
Based on a local homebrewer's award-winning recipe. This stuff pours a hazy sunset sienna-amber topped by a finger of cream-white foam. The nose comprises dry toffee, pine sap, and light lemon peel. The taste brings in more of the same, along with bark, earth, and pine needles. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, I can't say I was too big a fan of this. The hopping seemed musty to me, and the malt bill never fully expressed itself vis-a-vis those hops.
