Served in a snifter at the brewpub.
Dammit, now I've got an '80s song in my head. Stupid "Jessie's Girl" being so catchy... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises wild rice, sweet biscuit, grass, and some mildly-funky greens. The taste brings in more of the same, with a bit more of that mild funk and plenty of flowers tossed in for good measure. The body is a light-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda dry finish. Overall, a nice enough imperial pils, but the funkiness starts to get to ya after a while, and the thing just isn't all that interesting or drinkable enough to return to many times.
