En route to the National Homebrewers Conference in Denver, I stopped by TBC for lunch. Housed in an old railroad depot, this is a small place, but loaded with Colorado charm. The bar is small, maybe eight feet long, and is at one end of the building. The restraunt in in the central portion of the building with, perhaps, 20 tables, a a view of the town sign on top of the mountain. It's a gorgeous view! The brick walls are adorned with local art and posters for upcoming bands. TBC looks like a great night spot.
Disappointingly, there were only two beers on the menu: and amber ale and what the server called a Mexican Lager. It was a cloudy lemon colored beer. It tasted good by itself, but a lime squeezed into it made it better. The light lunch, a turkey club, was good, and the service excellent.
While I wouldn't make TBC a destination on a trip, I will stop by if I'm ever in the neighborhood again.
