Dull golden-orange in color with a near-invisible layer of off-white head. Aromas are loaded with orange peel, cooking spices, and coriander. Flavor is more of the same, only infused with alcohol. Not a burning alcohol flavor, just a very noticable warming effect. Immense mouthfeel. Not one to chug...one to sip and savor the myriad of flavors present.

This is the eisbock version of Lunacy, because the thing to do with a 7.7% Belgian strong pale is to make it stronger.
Pours a crystal clear golden amber, topped with a one finger off-white head, leaves a sheet of lacing. I was a bit surprised by the superior head and lacing for such a high powered brew, just maybe the thickness makes it stick.
Strong cereal malt aroma, tea and herb, loads of pepper, fruit.
Fruity, peppery taste, spices, hay, and lip tingling alcohol.
Very smooth, medium to full bodied, coating and warming but surprisingly drinkable.

Dark turibd gold with a nice head of white foam for such a very strong brew. The aromas were similar to that of the regular lunacy but they were definately intensified. Nice belgian malts, fruits, and sugar, with a big boozy punch to match. The taste is very sweet and fruity up front with a nice biscuity maltiness in the back and a dry finish that is quite boozy. The mouthfeel is quite sticky and full and the drinkability is good as well. Nice.
