A new heavyweight blend (new hammer, old hammer, and some BORIS) keg conditioned, from the hand-pump at this years EBF. Dark brown/cola-black was the colour of this brew aromas were of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, and more. Very porter-like with a few impy stout like aromas as well. The taste was oh so good, creamy chocolate, coffee, roasty malts, and more. A lovely blend. Mouthfeel is awesome in this keg-conditioned format and the drinkability is damn nice as well. Old school indeed, and it is nice to see this old-style being tackled by breweries again. In fact my local brewpub (Bethlehem Brew Works) made a similar beer just a month or two back that was also damn good. Good show.
