On-cask at both DBA in Manhattan and Barcade in Brooklyn. A dark ruby red brew with a nice cask cascade and a good-sized head of almond foam. Aromas are all patent malts, caramel, a bit of chocolate, and roast, and some nice hops are subtle but there for balance in the background. Taste is superb. So light and refreshing yet jam packed with flavor as well. Caramel, chocolate, roast, a bit of coffee, and some nice hoppiness in the finish which is wet and than dry. Mouthfeel is cask perfection, smooth creamy and great which leads to an excellent drinkability as well. This one really holds its own. I want to try more of these heavyweight UK-styled cask beers, as this one is the bomb, and cask dark milds are uber-rare in the states...that should change.

Menu at the The Drafting Room-Exton had this as a strong mild. Tasted like a mild, and the alcohol is above that 3.whatever range. So I'm not sure this is the right category for this, but what the hey. Less geeking, more drinking.
Dark with red peaking through. Nice head and lacing. The guy who had a pint after me had less head though.
Some mild buttery notes. Some hops are noticeable but not overwhelming. Balanced nicely.
Meant to be on-cask. Glad I got to try it that way.
