$6 @ d.b.a. 16 oz. 7.00%
Appearance:
Fresh on tap at d.b.a. this pours an appropriate murky orange brown with a thin rime of foam on top.
Aroma:
Nice and yeasty with a sharp citrus tang to it.
Taste/Moouthfeel:
Silky smooth with slight overtones of alcohol coupled with a freshly squeezed orange sensation that carries with it a bread-like quality. A nice weisse, though alcohol is a bit too apparent.

Thanks to Beerbeing for the bottle. Pours with lots of head, and great lacing. Body is a hazy orange. Many aromas are present, buttery cranberries and bananas, muddled with many others.
Taste is a little tart at first, from the cranberries no doubt. Many spices and a wheat profile. Mouthfeel is lively from the carbonation, and full. Great drinkability.

When I got this as part of Never Again BIF, it had sprung a leak and BeerBeing thought it may have lost its carbonation but it poured big and foamy like a good Hefeweisen should. It had a serious murkiness in a amber/orange haze. The smell has a rotten funkiness which scared me but the reviews indicate that this may be due to the tartness of the cranberries. This is a truly a unique hefe. It has an earthiness, maltiness, tartness but very easy to drink. This seems like an experimental beer which I appreciate but it doesnt cross the line from good to great although it looks like it can.

Uncle Bob's Bog Weisse pours a cloudy, murky, dirty golden colour with a healthy head that is not very sticky, but nice nonetheless.
The aroma is spicy and wheat-like, with hints of candy, banana and other fruit in the mix as well.
The flavour is more of the same, however there is a tartness throughout, thanks to the cranberries this one is brewed with, that sets this one apart from other w'bocks. I've read of complaints of buttery diacetyl flavours here and there but I detected no such flavour in my bottle.
This medium bodied brew is slick but crisp and has a nice mouthfeel to it overall.
As is the case most, if not all, of the time, this is a very nice one-shot offering from Heavyweight.

Thanks to dickinsonbeer for this Jersey gem...
Appears a hazy cloud of light orange with a small white head. Scattered lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of banana, citrus, wheat, honey, tropical fruit salad.
Mouthfeel is sweet, light, and slightly chalky.

Presentation: 750ml brown glass generic bottle, white/grey/black label
Appearance: cloudy orange/yellow color, VERY large head, small sticky lacing
Smell: yeast, cranberries, wheat and malt
Taste: medium body, very crisp mouth feel, very yeasty with some cranberries (I wish it was much more cranberrish), minor malt, spicy cloves, and generic fruitness
Notes: very good by itself and kinda unusual (flavored ?) weisse, unfortunately - very limited release (30 cases x 12 bottles)
