This dry-hopped APA goes perfectly with idle conversation. The malt bill is kept simple to showcase the Amarillo, Meridian, and Delta hops.

Growler thanks to rudzud, I thinkl.... not sure when I'll make it out there on a weekend.

Light fizzy small head, light lacing, crystal clear amber slight reddish color.

Nose light herbal earthy hop, faint floral, grassy herbal hops, very light overall hop presence, mild grainy amber malt.

Taste brings fruity hops, Amarillo comes through at first, fruity bubblegum, with mild grassy floral, light herbal earthy. Some doughy amber grainy malt, caramel. Finish is drier and sticky, mild bitterness, grassy herbal light spicy hop lingering. Drops off quickly.

Mouth is med bod, little lighter bod, light carb.

Overall big letdown, very little of any hop character other than the initial flash of fruity Amarillo, but even that disappears quickly. Malts are too strong too.

Picked this up at the brewery. Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a crystal clear honey hue with a thin white head that fades to leave thin wisps.

S - Aromas of, next to nothing. Light bubblegum, super faint floral. Am I allowed to just simply write this " :-( " ?

T - Taste is, well, better than the nose. Faint Amarillo, but it's incredibly fleeting. Light floral hops, bubblegum, mildly bitter. Quite bland, though there's no off flavours in the beer.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, a bit thin.

O - Overall this beer was quite underwhelming, though still the best beer I had on their grand opening. Unfortunate.

I'm excited to be the first person to rate this beer. I enjoyed it as part of a flight at the brewery's brand spanking new taproom (which is a gorgeous space, by the way). As far as APAs go, it's solid. Not overly hoppy like Zombie Dust or MO, yet it does the style justice. I would absolutely have it again.
