Had on tap at the brewery.
Pours a crystal clear golden amber color with a small off-white head. No retention or lacing here.
The aroma is very yeasty and peppery up front, followed by a touch of pear and orange rind.
The taste is very fruity and sweet with notes of pear and orange. The dark fruits follow close behind. A touch of alcohol can be detected on each sip, as well as a faint spicy note on the back end.
The feel is full bodied with decent carbonation. Incredibly sticky and dry.
Overall, a decent tripel that offers some interesting flavors. Unfortunately it's a tad too sweet for my tastes.
