Drank at brewery from a cask; apparently this is a new recipe for this beer; from the Medusa website: "Transcontinental has been Transformed! This American-style Pale ale features a geographically diverse range of hops: Citra from the US, Mandarina Bavaria and Hull Melon from Germany, and Vic Secret from Australia. We're now utilizing a different yeast strain to really bring out the juiciness of these hops and accentuate the lovely notes of citrus, melon, and stonefruit."

Enjoyable pale ale but drinks more like a 4.5% session ipa than a 5.4% pale ale. The hoppiness is nice, just wish there was a touch more body. Still quite enjoyable overall. The hop profile screams New Zealand.

Had on tap. Pours clear, gold in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is pale malt, orange, and melon. Slightly bitter, with medium body and moderate carbonation. Makes for a juicy and tasty pale ale. Well worth seeking out. I will get this again.
