Mild haze to the deeply amber color. Little head and little lace in the form of spots.
The toasted malt stands out initially with a touch of cardboard. A bit of berry sweetness. The hop is extraordinarily light for DIPA.
The flavor is well balanced unlike the smell. Again, I get mildly roasted malt with a light blackberry sweetness. The hop here, though, is distinct and strong, cutting through the sugars. Good body with a lower than normal carbonation. The aftertaste lasts even though it is balanced initially.

Can. Bright copper with large head. and some loose lace. Toffee honey fruity citrus pine arome. Very sweet and very grainy with medium pine and grainy long finish. Medium body sticky sweet and mouth-coating grain and almost cloying.
