An imperial-strength IPA as ridiculous as its name. Constructed upon a base of Maine-grown 2-row malt, Patagonian crystal, and German wheat, liberally hopped with a combination of Mosaic, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, and Meridian!

On-tap 6/16/2016 at the brewpub in Hudson, MA served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, floral hops, caramelized malts and some alcohol.
T: The taste starts out with a nice burst of piney hops bitterness that is quickly followed by sweet flavors of citrus and caramel. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, strong kick, good representation of style, this is a very nice 2IPA to drink for a long time.

Medusa continues to step up their DIPA game. The last batch of Laser Cat and Phaser Marmot have both been killer. I've drank their stuff in sessions aside stuff from the "Tr" breweries and Medusa held its own. They're local, they currently brew some great beers, and they have been consistently improving...I'm psyched :).
