Poured on 6/19/2016 from a 32oz growler that was filled at the brewery on 6/16/2016 into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color with a large off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains grassy hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong grassy hops bitterness that is quickly followed by sweet flavors of citrus and caramel. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Smooth and crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a long time.
