Brewed with Pilsner and toasty Munich malts, this mellow brown ale was fermented with a classic German ale strain. Hopped with Hallertau Magnum and Northern Brewer to balance out its gentle caramel notes.

Lighter brown and clear. No lasting head and no corresponding lace.
Darker malt of brown bread and darker toast. There's a nice blend of floral hop in the background. Although it's not sweet, I am reminded of toffee.
The flavor is woodsy with a bit of earthiness. The body leans full but also with a higher carbonation level. The hop provides a balanced bitterness in the finish but the aftertaste is comparatively brief.
