A: nice presentation for an neipa
Hazy OJ
S: getting a little grapefruit, resinous pine , sweet bread, something funky going on here
T: getting a hint of pineapple, bitter berry/ stonefruit, dank resin, alcohol blast, to me not well balanced, where's the malt backbone to curb the bite and the burn of the alcohol
M: burn, resin, bitter finish
O: ok collaboration, but I prefer the cat!

Cloudy golden color with a 3F head in a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Sweet, earthy aroma.

Nice MF. Sticky, viscous, easy drinking.

Balanced taste with earthy citrus flavors.

I especially like the sharp hoppy finish.

A collab with LampLighter. Taiheke hops from NZ, and African Queen hops from South Africa me for an interesting brew.

I was looking for more citrus, otherwise excellent.

I really enjoyed this collaboration from 2 great local breweries, such a tasty DIPA; my only issue was the lack of body but everything else was so good, it did not truly matter; from the Medusa website: "A triumvirate of hop varieties from across the globe have conspired to formulate this Imperial IPA, which features mysterious notes of grapefruit, lime, berry, and stonefruit: Citra from the US, Taiheke from Zealand, and African Queen from South Africa. Medusa Brewing Company is proud to present this collaboration with our allies at Lamplighter Brewing Company (Cambridge, MA), hand-crafted in an underground labyrinth with the lizard people. We know you'll enjoy it. WE KNOW EVERYTHING."
