Enjoyed on tap at Armsby Abbey today.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice crystal clear golden hue with a thick creamy head that fades to leave nice lacing and a decent thin blanket.
S - Aromas of light bitterness along with a nice pleasant sweetness. Good fainter grassy notes as well, however, overall the nose is rather muted.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with good toasted grains and nice light fruity hops. Finish is low bitterness as well as nice lingering sweetness.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, carbonation is lower than I'd expect for the style.
O - Overall this was a rather solid dortmunder, wish the carbonation was a bit brighter though.
