HUG PATROL was brewed to benefit the ALS Therapy Development Institute, and as always, features an intriguing custom blend of hops provided by Loftus Ranches of Yakima, Washington. This year features Mosaic, Simcoe, Sabro, Loral, and four other experimental varities, presented in a juicy IPA fermented with our New England house yeast strain.

Light golden color with a 4F head in a Spielgelau IPA glass.
Floral, fruity, earthy MF.
Zesty, smooth MF.
The taste brings out the hops. Earthy, fruit, interesting combo of flavors. I haven’t tasted a beer with Sabro hops which is a newer varietal.

Spicy, moderately hoppy finish.
This is not your typical fruity NEIPA. It’s a different flavor profile. It’s tastes like it was brewed with New Zealand hops- it’s brewed with Yakima Valley hops. Very different. It’s great that Medusa Is raising money for a good cause with this brew. I have greatly enjoyed the beers from this MA Brewer.
