Crushable kettle sour made using real fruit. It has light acidity and body, fresh berry aromas from a combo of strawberries and rasperries with a luscious red shimmer.

Present from the family in August 2023. Drunk in November that year.
L: Pours a murky, rose-coloured orange in the glass. Pours with a head that disappears to nothing, not even a rim of foam, almost straight away. Carbonation can just be seen through the murk.
S: Vinous, tart berries. It smells like a particularly spiked bowl of berry fruit punch.
T: Similar to the nose. Tart, puckering berries, with a sherbety, saliva-inducing finish. The tartness hangs around long after the swallow.
M: Carbonation is mild and the body is quite full for a non-pastry sour. The beer finishes sherbety in the mouth but quickly dries out, leaving the lingering tart berry note written about earlier.
O: I'm not a fan of sour beers, but I try to be objective in my reviews. This is an incredibly refreshing beer and could be drunk really quickly due to that fact and the sherbety mouthfeel. It's a perfect palate cleanser, but for me, it's not much more than that, and I can see no reason why I'd go back for a second in any other circumstance.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
