Hoppy days are here again! Bursting with citrus and guava. Light, malty notes balance out a stern bitterness.

A Christmas present in 2023, drunk in January 2024.
L: Coppery orange with red highlights and a thin, off-white, almost yellow head. Orderly columns of tiny bubbles gallop up the glass.
S: Big, juicy caramel malts and spicy, bitter hops.
T: Per the nose, there is a big, bold backbone of rich caramel malts with a touch of burnt crusts and a kick of citric, guava and tropically acrid bitterness that lingers long after the swallow. There's warmth on the way down. The moreishness of this beer is undeniable!
M: Mouthfeel is full, and carbonation is restrained. All is in perfect harmony here.
O: This is an excellent red IPA, delivering a delicious malty and hoppy kick. We need to drink more delicious red ales like this to encourage more brewers to brew them!
Cheers!
