It poured a deep dark coffee color with a generous tan head. The smell reminds me of coffee from a percolator. The taste loses me, it is definitely is coffee but taste old and burn. Overall not much for me I have had many better coffee porters than this one.

First had on draft into tumbler. This beer was originally billed as a "pecan coffee Porter," but appears to have been brewed without pecans. What is left? A very solid coffee Porter. Update: had again on draft two months later. Now getting pecans in nice finish.
