Southern Grace has a thin, fizzy, off-white head, no glass lacing, and a sediment-filled, bubbly, gray-yellow appearance. Aroma is initially almost of nothing, but the "under-smell" is of sweet, yeasty spiced white bread, and the taste is similar, but with an initial sour rush. Mouthfeel is medium, and Southern Grace finishes medium dry.

First had on draft into pint tumbler.
True to style, this is another excellent entry in Natchez Brewing's efforts to expand the beer consciousness of southwest Mississippi.

Hazy light gold color with solid white cap and lacing.
Light grain aroma with a tart element in the background. Also slightly fruity.
Taste is more tart than I would expect from a wheat brew, a rather sharp sort of tartness that marches right up to the line between refreshing and puckering lemon acidity. I really don't find much of anything else, grain, yeast or hops.
Thin texture with good carbonation.
This is the brewer's take on a Berliner Weisse. No, I'm not making that up, says so right there on the label. I don't find much influence from yeast, grain or hops here. Brewer notes this is a Berliner sour style which is accurate insofar as I understand that style. Just wish this one had more than tart to it.

Poured into a tater glass at LD's Beer Run, Jackson, MS
A: A pale yellow/gold with about a half finger white head that lingered. Decent lacing.
S: Wheat, grains, light malts.
T: Very smooth and wheat-filled. Light, summery. A perfect lawnmower, outdoor beer.
M: Low to medium with medium carbonation.
O: A highly drinkable addition to the Natchez Brewing stable. At 4.5%, this may be one of Mississippi summer's go-to session beers.
