Straw yellow color with a minimal and short lied white head, The aroma is green chili. The taste is moderately hot green chili with a bit of light caramel malt. The body is light, moderate carbonation. Altogether, this is one for those with a taste for some heat. The chili taste is good, heat is moderate but noticeable, good to accompany spicy Mexican or other cuisine. Honestly, I couldn't see drinking this by itself very frequently.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of spicy chile with caramel, toffee and some floral notes. Nice spicy bite from the peppers with some caramel sweetness for balance.

Pours a clear, dark amber color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of chile and a hint of sweet malt. Fits the style of a Chile Beer. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. There is also a noticeable, but not overpowering heat. Tastes of chile, hint of pale malt, and a hint of sweet malt. Overall, weak appearance, low complexity, initial chile and then almost nothing afterwards.

Kudos to the brewer on this one. Tastes just like Chiles, but not overpowering. Would be great for cooking, just not sure about drinking a bunch of. This seems more of a novelty and a cooking beer than something you would want to sit back and drink a few of. I cannot see doing that.
