From a twelve ounce can, this brew is a deep amber color. Nice clarity, with a short, off-white head. Little head retention. Smells malty, with toasted bread scents. Balanced flavor, if not tilted a bit sweet, with a bit more bitterness than it needs. This one has the right attributes of a good Oktoberfest, but doesn’t quite nail the landing.

Deep copper colored hazy brew with a thin then gone head. Malty nose is great for the style, sweet malts mixed with caramel, some hops behind. Oh good flavor, just what I am looking for in one of these. Sweet yet balanced , caramel tones. Decently carbonated and maybe a bit on the thinner side. Solid 4 for me.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a good-sized, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of sweet caramel, some roasted malt and floral notes. This oktoberfest leans toward the sweeter side of things with lots of caramel. Not much bitterness.

Beautiful dark amber, nearly brown, body; full and lively carbonation; fine, thick head, dense and semi-creamy. Notes of caramel and crystal malt on the nose; a bit sweet and nutty. Weak flavors of dried nuts; moderate hop bitterness and very light malt sweetness. Light body; flat and watery.
This beer lacks malt oomph. It looks great, tastes and feels dull and watery.

Very dark brown cloudy body with a full finger of tan foam. Smell is led by huge sweet malt aromas including caramel, sugar nuts, and even chocolate. Taste is much the same with some toast, but the flavoring gets away from the classic nature of the style, almost getting into dark ale territory. Feel thick, heavy, malty, yet smooth, but no variance of character to stand out, bready texture or crispness missing. Too many technical flaws
