On draft at 1839 Taphouse. Poured a clear, amber color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee, some spicy rye and caramel. Sweet toffee taste with caramel, roasted malt and hints of spice.

Nice and malty with almost a slight hint of chocolate roast in the background. Nice little spice from the rye and hops helps balance it all.
