The latest in our Artist Spotlight Series is a Hazy Pale ale with Galaxy, Enigma, and Strata with a nice double dose of our normal pale ale dry-hop levels. With this artist series, we strive to brew to the label and this particular vacation driven scene, we wanted to create a beer that very well could end up the only beer you want for an entire vacation. We wanted a beer that’s not too heavy, not too juicy sweet but has all balanced character of an incredible pale ale. With the blend of Galaxy, Enigma, and Strata used, it lends toward a nice punch of pineapple, light stone fruit and peaches.
As Mayor Vaughn said…Amity is a Summer Town that needs summer dollars Now, if the people can't swim here, they'll be glad to swim at the beaches of Cape Cod, the Hamptons, Long Island...
We have been super excited to work with Andrew Krahnke out of Long Island, NY, on this series.

A: The beer is rather hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that has excellent retention properties and left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pineapple and melon are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of mango and stone fruit. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This hazy pale ale is very easy to drink and has an interesting mix of aromas and flavors from the hops.

Light golden, hazy with a pillowy white head, this brew looks nice. Sweet tropical nose is somewhat subdued but smells good. Starts tropical and then an interesting almost mineral finish on this APA somewhat like a good spicy pils. Different than other APAs in a good way. Ok carbonation and a medium/thin feel on this brew. Try one if you can.

16oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden orange color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, mango, orange and caramel. Sweet toasted caramel taste with citrus and a subtle piney bitterness.
