S’mores inspired Imperial Stout with marshmallow, cacao nibs, cinnamon, and vanilla
Our first imperial stout can and one that is extremely well represented by the Hambino…the original S’mores connoisseur. With our Oated Imperial Stout recipe as our base, layered with extra honey malt before aging on an Ghanian cacao nibs, vanilla, and marshmallow. Finished with a touch of Ceylon cinnamon sticks. A balanced stout with some sweetness but not overwhelming.

Interesting. Definitely a well rounded dessert beer. Plenty of sweet vanilla, chocolate, and marshmallow, and there’s a good presence of cinnamon spiciness as well. Medium bodied, a hint of oiliness, and a bit of syrupy thickness. Will see how it warms, but this one would be pretty good by a roaring fire on a fall night.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short tan head that quickly died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of cocoa nibs, marshmallow and vanilla are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except the flavors of vanilla come across as being stronger and there are notes of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slick on the palate with a low amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes like liquid S'mores. While being thin on the mouthfeel, it has exceptionally drinkability and also completely hides any traces of alcohol from the taste.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque. jet-black color with a small, light brown head of bubbly foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of marshmallow, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and some cinnamon. Sweet chocolate taste with toffee, marshmallow and subtle cinnamon.
