Stout aged in a blend of Blanton’s and Willett bourbon barrels with strawberries. This bottle is the result of trials in the utilization of specific fruit in barrel-aged stout. The barrels we chose were aged between 13-16 months and represented a lower ABV base stout that we initially intended for future barrel blends. After trials on strawberries, we went with what we felt best represented the marriage between stout, barrels and strawberries, leading to the strict use of this specific barrel base due to its already natural bright strawberry like notes with a light vanilla-like oak background
