Exceptional beer! I was getting some cans of IPA to roll home with and saw the barkeep pouring one of these for someone else...there weren't any stout or porters on the board so I was confused- because it poured a heck of a lot like a good stout. Bug frothy head.
I asked for a sample before filling my cans to go... and was hooked.
They label it a Black Hoppy Ale. It tasted like an IPA, but felt like a mild stout- what a fantastic combination. I've had a beer or two in my day. This was unique in a great way and worth reproduction.
