Had a glass on tap at the brewery today and it pours a nice hazy yellow gold color with a nice small foamy white head that faded slowly and left average lacing. It smelled of grapefruit, lemon zest and rye and had a mostly citrus nose. The flavor was full of rye, lemon zest, grapefruit, orange peel, faint biscuit and it had spices in the finish. It was crisp and the feel was thin and almost watery, but the bitterness and clean finish were nice. This was very tasty and would be a great summer beer on a nice hot day.

Ryes ‘n Tides is a rye influenced pale ale.
The tan colored can pour hosts a light 2 cm foam cap.
The aroma is of rye spice and an orange blossom notes.
The flavor is rye dominated, sharp, pleasant. Grapefruit is also present.
The body is relatively light. This is very good.

notes from a visit to the brewery on Nov 1st. transparent sienna. subtle rye over a run of the mill pale. not all that exciting kind of like brand x beer. no frills. as it opened rye came out more and really nice balanced flavors shone through. anither tasty beverage.

The beer offers a hint of juicy grapefruit, onto floral. There are sweet and chewy malts up front with spicy rye finish. The mouthfeel is medium minus, but fits for its "session" ABV.

Abbreviated review, tasting flight at brewery.
Dry with a strong peppery rye note. The resins hop character is pleasant, but doesn't quite hook up with the rest of the flavor profile.
