This Belgian is a transparent amber, featuring a white head and clover nose. The flavor is all banana esthers though. It's a pleasant sip, though a bit bubbly as though overcarbonated.

Tall can purchased at the brewery canned 6-4-18
Pours lighter Amber, with a moderate haze...fine lace left on the glass.
Earthy, grainy, yeasty nose.
Tasty Belgian influenced ale, with a hint of yeast, light bubble gum and coriander....love the style and SC's take on it....well worth a try.

Growler from the brewery, it pours hazy gold color with active carbonation and bubbles flowing up to a 2+ finger foamy white head that was full of tiny bubbles that popped as the head faded about average time, but I feel fast for a Belgian style beer. Decent lacing in the form of spider webs.
Smells of toasted grains, yeast, caramel, lemon zest, floral hops, bread crust, peppery spices, coriander and a slight musty odor. Some white wine like fruity notes come out after a while and bring more sweetness together with the malt base.
Tastes has more lager notes along with tart green apple, wet cardboard and buttery biscuit which blends in well with the same lineup from the nose: toasted grains, yeast, caramel, lemon zest, floral hops, bread crust, pepper, pear or slightly browned fruit, coriander, white wine and a slight musty odor. Much more Belgian tasting as it flows down easy with good balance while hiding the ABV.
Mouthfeel is smooth with mild carbonation, a little warming affect on the belly, an average body and a slightly bitter or even tart/crisp finish that was sweet with a lot of grainy notes. Nice to see another non-IPA from Sand City work so well.
