Had it on tap at the brewery and it poured cloudy brownish amber color with a 1 finger foamy tan head that faded average time and left decent spotty lacing.
Smelled of grains, light caramel, spices like cinnamon and faint nutmeg, perhaps a dash of allspice, and bread crust like graham cracker. Sweet, bready and not an over-spiced aroma, it was mostly malty and pleasing to my nose as I don't care for heavily spiced pumpkin ales. This had just enough of everything represented.
Tastes a lot like it smells with a heavy malty, caramel base which allows the pumpkin and spices to mix well and not completely hijack the beer. The spices were subtle and tasty, with the cinnamon, nutmeg, mild allspice and brown sugar balancing the sweet malts and making it resemble a pumpkin pie graham cracker crust. Spices were just right, it was easy to drink and hid the 7% ABV quite well. Well done Sand City, another nice seasonal beer to keep in the rotation.

Poured a deep amber hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured an earthy caramel and a moderate spice.
The taste offered a full chewy caramel malt, pumpkin rind and nutmeg/cinnamon.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller end of the style.
Overall a tasty and full bodied pumpkin ale.
