this one came out a few weeks ago and although an American tripel is the least exciting thing I could imagine my favorite local brewery putting out, there is a dry hop element so let's give it a go. WE'LL HOT DOG...that's about as good as a tripel can get. the color is crisp transparent yellow, obvious in my flight. nose is hippy bubblegum but the taste and feel is where this tripel turns into a in the park Homer (see what I did there?). while dry hopped still a tripel so bubblegum and clove but the hop brings it around to confuse the senses. really tasty and more than worth the tick. if there wasn't freshy fade to jade and oops up, I might have taken a growler of this home. we'll done.
