On tap at the brewery, pours cloudy yellow gold color with a nice 1-2 finger foamy off white head that faded very slowly and left good lacing and rings as it dropped.
Smell and taste is typical for the style with yeast, bready dough or grains, light floral hops, lemon zest, banana and mild peppery spices. Flavor had some added citrus, biscuit and hints of bubblegum, making it enjoyable and relatively complex but not differentiating itself in any real way. All the basics are here, but I'll need another tasting to determine it's true merit. Easy to drink on a summer afternoon, this was smooth and a definite session brew if you like Hefe's.
