This session IPA is essentially a hazy/New England light. It's got the hazy yellow coloring, with the citrus aroma and taste. Even the mouthfeel is comparable to a less octane version of it's big brother. I could see this being a good option if you want less abv.

Served in a snifter glass from a can which I grabbed at the brewery about a month ago.
Appearance: Hazy yellow with a white head rising a full fingers length off the body.
Smell: floral aroma.
Taste: Sweet citrus, mellow grapefruit juice coming off yellow grapefruit juice.
Mouth: Dry and heavy hop finish.
Overall: Great little grab which satisfied any palate. Good for the first one of the night. Overall.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass; no production information.
A: Pours a hazy, almost lemony yellow color with a one finger, white head, no more than rim retention, and spotty lacing.
S: Aromas of pineapple, orange, mango, caramel, and pine.
T: More semisweet and semidry. Flavors are a melange of the fruit and caramel. Solid but not overpowering bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Drinks smooth and somewhat creamy.
O: A robustly hoppy, very drinkable and enjoyable American IPA. Put out a fiery thirst very nicely.

This was yet another beer from Sand City that I traded for recently but took a while to get around to. Not sure if there was any ulterior meaning behind the name but if this was what was needed to put out a fire, this could suffice. Full of juice and an underlying dankness, there was a good malt presence here and some lactose in here as well. Balanced and nicely nuanced, there was enough to like about this even though there wasn't anything particularly outstanding about this beer.
Not a bad pour to this as the liquid was a turbid apricot with a moderate head topping it off. No lacing was left behind as this was just a bit thinner than I would have liked. Loads of tangerine on the nose with white grape, tropical fruits, and biscuit or cracker in the background. A good amount of mango emerged on the palate along with some earthy dankness, wet hops, pineapple, and pine dankness. The dry finish and light carbonation made this feel heavier than it was in actuality although this was still quite light for an IPA...
That's because there wasn't a lot of booze in this, as it was nearly an American Pale Ale when it came to it's balance and body. Not the best from Sand City but there was plenty to like here as this was as unoffensive as could be. Have a fire in your life? This will put it out - one enjoyable sip at a time!

Tall can from the brewery yesterday, brewed and released last week
Nice looking NEIPA pour, fully hazed
Soft tangerine on the nose
Tasty lower octane IPA from SCBC...tropical and delicious in a slightly more drinkable format..with the alcohol only at five point four percent....well worth seeking out....fine summery brew.
