On tap at Sand City in Northport.

Pouyrs a hazy orange with soft, soapy foam.

Smell is juicy with notes of oranges, grapefruit, mango and some grass. Almost a bit tangy.

Taste is soft and juicy, with lots of citrus and quite a bit of mango joined by a potent bitterness and a little bit of hop burn. Very well balanced, slightly dry finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.

Overall, another great DIPA from Sand City.

Pours like orange juice with a half inch white head that left ample lacing all the way down the glass. Smells of orange juice, tropical fruits, sweet malts and grass. Tastes of ripe mango, tangerine, orange peel, sweet malts, grass, grapefruit and some herbal notes. Medium bodied and carbonation, mild bitterness, creamy mouth feel.

Very similar to Sand City’s Guttersnipe which was released a couple of weeks ago.

Tall silver can, I cant find any canning date info.

Typical NE IPA look....super clouded, orange juicelike

Loaded with more orange juice upon the sniff

On the palate its ripe tropicals abounding, with oranges again coming to mind....fresh and tasty, if you like the style, this one does not disappoint. Worth seeking out, but waiting in line? Not for me

This is a solid 4.5 for me. Beautiful hazy pour with a thick creamy foam head. The smell is outstanding, perfect balance of sweet to dank, I get a hint of mold at the tail of the smell, but in a good way. The sugars really overpowered my palate but mellow out as the alcohol takes over and I recognize the hop profile. This is like drinking passionfruit juice, and comes off really sweet at first. It opens up nicely, and becomes more enjoyable as the temperature goes up, but the sweet flavor is really holding this one back for me. Overall, this is an incredible brew to experience, I'm looking forward to seeing how it changes over 3 weeks to a month in the fridge.

Look: Yellow, hazy, turbid, with big fluffy head.
Smell: Lime, lemon, and grass.
Taste: Lime, lemon, and orange. Real juicy.
Mouthfeel: Soft and creamy.
Overall: A good IPA from Sand City, but not my favorite.
