Served in a Sand City snifter glass from the can.

Appearance: Full hazy body with a white head which initially rose half a fingers length off the body.

Smell: Light tropical aroma consisting of pineapple but dissipates super quickly from the nostril.

Taste: Smooth malt, oatmeal sweet with hints of citrus juice. Citrus juice and malt, but don't expect it to be sweet if you know what I mean.

Mouth: Sticky body with a soft carbonation, touch dry with a very mellow malt bite.

Overall: Good grab but not worth hunting if you are in dire need of it. If it crosses your eyes, try it...thank me later. Salud!

Hazy gold with a fat finger of yellowed head that leaves sheets of lacing.

Pepper, rotten melon, peach and apple in the aroma.

Similarly sweet fruits up front in the taste, followed by a faint nutty impression and moderately strong aspirin bitterness.

Medium to full bodied with decent carbonation.

Well below average for a NEIPA.

Semi-translucent body, light gold in color; spiffy micro bubbles of carbonation; incredibly dense and creamy white head. Soft sweetness on the nose; muted mango and orange; freeze dried strawberry. Muted citrus and yellow pitted fruit flavors; watermelon and honey dew melon; aptly suited hop bitterness, unobtrusive yet providing some nice contrast. Heavy body yet with a delicate silkiness; mildly slick and juicy; slight note of alcohol dryness but semi-sweet feel overall.

For a double IPA coming in at 8.2% ABV, this is one subtle and nicely flavored beer.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass not sure when it was canned, but I trust TheIPAHunter and am sure 4 weeks at most. Pours a slightly cloudy orange with a finger sticky white head that leaves plenty of thin webs of lace as it slowly settles. 4.5

Smell passion fruit, tangerine, papaya, herbal earthy undertones, and apricot. 4.5

Taste follows passion fruit, papaya, tangerine, again only can describe it as slightly herbal and clean and crisp, with a little apricot that sticks to the palate after each sip. 4.5

Mouthfeel is about medium, a tad sticky not dry, a little more carbonation than NEDIPAs and it works great, and at 8.2% really drinkable. 4.5

Overall this is an excellent DIPA, reminds me a little of Second Fiddle or Sip Of Sunshine, not a true NEDIPA but still juicy and crazy tasty. 4.5

2018 Beeradvocate IPA Fest. Maybe my favorite beer there. Perfect NEIPA look. Flavors and nose hit the mark, too. Probably tried 75 beers at the fest and they mostly all tasted the same. This one I remembered as being one of the best.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a pale extremely hazy yellow with a thin dense white head.

Aroma is an intense tropical citrus.

Taste is a pithy bitter tropical like a tiki drink.
