A murky and pale yellow color with a fluffy white head and nice lacing. Hops and slight fruit on the nose. The drinking hits hop forward with lots of tangy and fruity hops. Good notes of mango, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and orange. A rather juicy and dry feel that flows nicely. Some definite spice, resin, pine, and a bit of dank on the finish.
Overall, not my favorite single hop but this is really well made.

Traded for this a while ago although I'm not sure when, as there wasn't a date on the bottom of the can. Had no idea what to expect with a beer of this name, but this ended up being a pleasant surprise as this featured Galaxy wonderfully while being as smooth and enjoyable as other Sand City beers that I've had over the years!
Quite a lively pour as this was foamy, all the way up until the last bit that I got out of the can. Tons of haze to this mellow melon hue as there was plenty of head to top it off and quite a bit of rocky lacing, although that was only seen around the top of my pint glass. Tons of juicy citrus, lively lime, deep tropical fruit, nectar sweetness, and cream in the muted but wonderfully varied and muted nose as this had me hooked from the first whiff. Dank, sweet, slick, and complex, this beer had it all on the palate as the taste hooked me in and resolved any lingering doubts that I may have had. Apricot, peach, and tropical fruit came in as this was wonderfully juicy, sensually slick, and oh-so-easy to fall in love with. Some bread in the balanced malt kept this level but it was recessed enough to let the flavors shine as this ended up leaving my pint glass in quite a hurry...
Booze? It's here but with so much goodness going on, you'd be hard-pressed to find it. I fully admit that I'm biased to the breweries in the Big Apple but this was every bit as good as anything that they've cranked out in recent years and might have been the best beer that I've ever had from Sand City. Tree House and Trillium better check their rear-view mirrors out - these guys are clearly gaining on them after this understated gem of an offering!

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a super hazy and golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This is definitely a Galaxy bomb, with a huge round of citrus, some passionfruit, some grassy hops, etc- it's Galaxy all the way for sure.
There's a light bitterness on the palate, and this only helps to balance theer. There's lots of passionfruit and exotic citrus flavors, with some flowery bitterness as mentioned before.
This is light bodied, crisp and clean, with a good level of carbonation, and a very high level of drinkability.
I always forget how money Sand City is- it's some great beers over there on the Island.

Pours a hazy golden color with a one inch, fluffy white head that left a little lacing. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits. Tastes of pineapple, mango, apricot, lemon, tangerine, pine and a hint of pepper. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated, mild bitterness, smooth mouth feel with just a minimal amount of dryness.
