This gose pours a red that could be berry juice if you weren't aware. There's a fruity note that I was expecting. Unfortunately the flavor is very tart and the mouthfeel is similar to being overcarbonated. This could be better and allow the subtle flavors out.

Hazed purple with an oversized, airy raspberry-tinted head.
Lightly tart and creamy mixed berry in the nose.
More of that creamy, blueberry and blackberry tartness carries to the taste, with a semi-dry finish.
Medium bodied with tight fizz.
Very tasty and drinkable. Not overly sweet or overly tart. Very nicely done.

L - pours an opaque cranberry juice. 6500K bright white head with big bubbles that's gone in a flash.
S - nail polish and white zinfandel. Strong nostalgia from Thanksgiving dinners with the family. Cheap rose was always involved.
T - tart, underripe blackberry and sea salt. White grapes give off vinous vibes. Wants to be a dry chardonnay. Very strange.
F - light and effervescent. Lively, but not overcarbed. Decent velvety feel to make this pleasant to sip.
O - tastes like white wine you'll find at a vineyard in a location not known for good wines. Lol. That's not to say it's bad, but it gives off the impression of "best ingredients available". Unique and concise flavors, but little oomph or backbone. But that's if this was a wine. It's not, although it honestly tastes more like a wine than beer!

If you look closely, it seems most of the others who reviewed this beer aren't big fans of goses. That said, I love goses, and I think this is a great one. It pours a beautiful ruby red, with a pretty pink head. Smells like both berries mentioned on the label. Taste is tart, tangy, and sweet, with what I would consider to be the perfect level of saltiness. Body's fairly light and refreshing, but not watery. It's tasty, and pretty much exactly what I look for in the style.

Had on tap at the brewery. Pours a blue/purple color with a thin pink head that dissipated very quickly and left little lacing. Smells of tropical fruit, funk and floral notes. Tastes of blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, lemon peel, yeast and funk. Light bodied and carbonated and a dry mouth feel. Far from my favorite style, but this was very well done.

Pours pours pink/purple color with a pink foamy head that faded on the quick side and left minimal spotty lacing.
Smells like rotting grass scraped off the bottom of a lawn mower with a dash of sweetness and floral notes. Yikes.
Thankfully it tastes good, with cranberry, raspberry, sea salt, lemon zest, tart red grapefruit, grains, yeast or wheat, watermelon and summer fruit. Easy drinking and would be session-able out of the can if the nose is contained.
3/12/2019-Had it again and it was much better, especially the nose which was quite fruity and pungent.

Pours raspberry red. Aroma of tropical fruit, blueberry and blackberry. Taste follows the nose with a light sour/tart finish. Big fan of Sand City. Not my style but well crafted.
