-opaque orange tap pour is very pretty! A thin foam cap is shared among sticky rings upon draughts. The aroma is tangerine --mango. The flavor is an amped-up version of the same fruits with pineapple and moderate hop bitterness. This is a very flavorful quaff.

Pours cloudy golden with big two finger head. Great lacing as always. Aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, and Carmel. Taste follows the nose with orange peel and lemon zest. Nice collaboration.

Collaboration between Barrier and Sand City... Basically, Sand City brewed Barrier's Money IPA, but double dry hopped it with Azacca, Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops; 12/17/17 can release...
Medium-pale gold body hazed to opacity under two fingers of white foam that trailed lace down the glass... Appropriately citrusy with bright fruits, tangy and zesty, but with a soft malt base... Smooth but with a tingle, moderately bitter, mildly sweet, and softly carbonated...

From today's can release at Sand City, pours cloudy gold color with a solid 2 finger foamy eggshell colored head that was packed with tiny bubbles, dissipating very slowly leaving excellent tiger stripe camo foamy lacing rings as it went down.
Smells of grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, orange peel, lemon zest, star-fruit, melon, tropical fruit and fresh citrus hops. Some dank piney notes kick in along with layers of weed, caramel, buttered wheat bread, graham cracker and lots of floral notes like fresh cut flowers and tea leaf. Trailing earthy accents add to the mix, but this is a hop bomb with just enough malt backbone to smell great.
Tastes real similar to the nose with grapefruit, lemon zest, pineapple, lime, tangerine, orange peel, star-fruit, melon, kiwi, tropical fruit, fresh citrus hop, biscuit, skunk weed, caramel, buttered wheat bread, graham cracker, coriander, peppery spices, floral notes like fresh cut flowers and tea leaf, and then dank piney notes/pine cone. This almost tastes dry hopped as it has so much earthy, leafy hop accents that I assume a lot of floral hops or dry citrus hops had to be dumped into the mash. Either way, it's really damn tasty.
Mouthfeel is creamy, smooth and almost slick, with mild carbonation, a tame level of bitterness, a medium body and a juice like feel as it slides down easier than it should for a 8.5% ABV DIPA. Dangerously easy to drink.
Another great collaboration by Sand City, this time working with Barrier Brewing Co. to blend two of Long Islands best IPA's with equal parts Money by Barrier and Even Mo Mofo by Sand City. It was fun to notice and try and pinpoint the different parts of this beer and acknowledge the brewers for what each contributed. Very tasty, very smooth, and in my view another winner coming from the village of Northport. The can artwork is top notch too.
