16oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 4.99. Canned 2/22/19; which was very difficult to discern, as it was printed in black in on a black background- unlike the other couple Sand City brews I’ve had that make the canning date incredibly obvious (bravo, Sand City!). Served in a teku. Enjoyed 3/25/19.
Pours a hazy, pale yellow orange with a generous cap of white fluff. The foam fades but maintains some wisps on the surface, a modest ring around the edges and a good bit of lacing from the initial head.
Smells sweet and citrusy. Mandarin oranges, strawberry, melon cake and lemon drops. Vibrant and pungent in all the right ways. I can’t keep my nose away from the glass.
The hop flavors here are bold and assertive. Grapefruit, oranges, candied lemon peel, melon rind, seedy berries and a little cakey sweetness.
Full, slick, almost oily feel with subtle carbonation. The aftertaste is actually a little more bitter than the flavors. Notes of orange, grapefruit and lemon.
Mighty fine work from Sand City. Two Legit is a delicious reminder of how dialed up everything can be in an imperial IPA. Outstanding.

Tall can 2/16/18
Pours a warm shade of darker honey amber, 3/4 hazed, leaves respectable fields of lacing and sheeting.
Smoky hopped up nose with tropical fruits coming to mind.
Heady brew at 10%, ripe tropicals, tea, hop resins, coriander, spicy ginger, lime....super fresh and flavorful. over the top delicious, over the top enjoyable....go get some

...we NEED a new space. screw the deck, get outta there!
but enough already...we know that score. as for this fine assault of hops...perty ferkin gewd! I was frightened by 10% but this is super well executed. candied hops, a hint of hop syrup but dang skippy if these buggers didn't just give me the ideal "honey, I just want one beer tonight" in an IPA, then I don't know which day it is (again). literal hop candy in a can. enjoying this one more than soylent green which I dug also. Keep on keeping on and if you can't get that tasting room open, I'm telling you my backyard would work. Parking could get hairy after we hit 50 people but I'm sure the neighbors would join in on the fun instead of being giant pains in the butts.

Pours amber with a one finger white head. Great lacing as always with sand city. Aroma orange juice, pineapple and peach. Taste follows the nose with light Carmelandva light booze. Great dipa.

Canned 02/16/18, picked up at the brewery at today's release; pours opaque dark gold color with a solid 2 finger foamy eggshell colored head that was packed with tiny bubbles, dissipating very slowly and leaving excellent foamy lacing with thick foamy rings as it went down. At this point I expect nothing less than sexy looking DIPA's from Sand City.
Smells of pineapple, orange juice, lemon zest, tangerine, grapefruit, caramel, peach, mango, light booze like a rum flavored drink, crackers, brown sugar, honey, dank citrus hops, hop oil, light piney notes, sweet malt, candied sugar and buttered wheat bread. Reminds me of Bell's Hopslam, which is also a 10% ABV so it makes sense. It's sweet, but complex with a nice balance of malty sweetness and hoppy fruit notes that help mask the ABV.
Tastes very fruity with pungent citrus fruit that brings a tasty combo of orange juice, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, star fruit, caramel, light booze like a rum, graham cracker, brown sugar, honey, piney notes, sweet malt, candied sugar, buttery biscuit or a heavily buttered egg bagel, roasted grains and mild peppery spices like tea leaf and or coriander. It seems sweet at first, then the booze tries to take over and eventually there is harmony as this brew balances itself out and goes down easier than it should.
Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with a medium body, mild to average carbonation, a medium bitterness level and a fair amount of fruit and citrus sweetness that helps keep the ABV in check. The alcohol is always present, but works well with the aggressive sweetness. A lot easier to drink than a 10% ABV DIPA should be. Impressive brew for such a heavy hitter.
Overall, drop the mic Hammer, this shit is Two Legit to quit.
