-very cloudy pale yellow tap pour with a fine foam cap, that sticks and laces the glass on draughts. The aroma bursts with pineapple and tropical fruit. The depth of flavors is pronounced: orange, grapefruit, pineapple juice and orange rind front moderate hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is full and each taste begs for another!

Canned 03/08/18, it pours cloudy gold color with brown accents and a thick 2 finger foamy white colored head that was packed with bubbles, fading very slowly and leaving excellent foamy lacing coating the sides with spider webs and rings as it went down. Spot on for a Sand City DIPA with those NE style looks.
Smells dank and juicy, like fresh pineapple, papaya, grapefruit, orange juice, melon, tangerine and then some biscuit, mild grains or malts, weed and tropical fruit. One of the better smelling Sand City beers this year so far.
Flavor picks up where the nose left off, with juicy citrus hops leading the way, followed by pineapple, tangerine, papaya, melon, grapefruit, orange juice, lime, starfruit, mild caramel, a hint of brown sugar, graham cracker, orange peel, yeast, piney notes, coriander and light peppery spices. Very well balanced and super hoppy, it tastes dry hopped.
Mellow carbonation, a medium level of bitterness and a smooth, creamy feel help hide the ABV and let this brew slide down easy. It comes off as fresh and juicy from start to finish, this was a great collaboration by Sand City and Civil Society Brewing.

Thank you to my man robbie for swinging by the "tasting room" to snag some cans. Pours a deep sienna golden coppery kinda color w a frothy white cap and sheets of lace. Nose is crisp clean melon hop. Taste follows suit...Very light bit super juicy...heat is well hidden for sand city but noticeable, I expected 8% smothered that as well. All in all a fine beverage from sand city that is worthy of both sand city and civil society
