On tap at The Lark in East Northport, it has the typical Sand City good looks and then the nose kicks in with a lot of malty and caramel sweetness along with citrus notes and light floral hops. Not the regular Sand City nose, it’s more English IPA.
Tastes sweet and malty with citrus hops dominating but not dank or so hoppy that the bitterness is crazy. It’s like an English DIPA and smooth with a lot of orange and graham cracker sweet aspects balancing each other out. George is a great guy, glad they honored him and his hat.
3/12/2020-had a canned version dated 1/30/20 and it was super hoppy and really easy to drink. Damn enjoyable.
