Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden color with a two-finger head; good retention and splashy lacing
Smell: Tropical fruit aromatics - pineapple, grapefruit and orange juice tones
Taste: Tropical fruit flavors forward with papaya, pineapple and orange juice joined but a bit of caramel and peach in the mix; through the middle, the grapefruit emerges with a touch of lemon zest; the finish is balanced with fruit and a moderate level of bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A nice example of the style overall

This imperial IPA is sneaky. It's a darker color orange-yellow than I was expecting, and there isn't as much aroma, but there's a sweetness. The taste is all sweet though, and the hoppy bitterness is absent. This could easily be an entry for someone into IPA.

The deep orange can pour holds a deep haze and a 1 cm foam cap that dissipates quickly.
The aroma is of orange blossoms, really floral.
The flavor is rich with citrus, pineapple and mango.
The mouthfeel is smooth with a bit of prickly carbonation.
This is fantastic.
