Served in a sand city goblet from the can.

Appearance: Hazy pale gold, white head which rose half a fingers length off the body.

Smell: tropical aroma. Maybe the weakest property of the beer but only because of the potency. For me could be due to the low temperature of the brew, I'll give it a second sniff.

Taste: Complex and touch sweet with a dense malt feel to the brew.

Mouth: What a thirst quenching animal, juicy and lightly floral.

Overall: As many times as i had this beer i thought i reviewed, incredible brew which is very hard to let go. Salud!

A The beer is hazy and a bit pale light yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lime and herbs are preset in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has stronger flavors of lime along with notes of herbs. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a light amount of crispness.
O: I liked the aromas and flavors of lime citrus in this IPA. It drank a lot easier than I expected for a beer that is 9% abv.

A: Golden sunkist. Morning haze. Puffy white head...a few floaties.

S: Pear galette, pome fruit salad...less fruit punchy and more fresh cut honeydew, melon, orange segments.

M: Soft feel with a smooth crispness. Med-full body. High drinkability.

T: Light dankness, gooey cantaloupe, orange zest, red grapefruit, yellow/orange skittles. Peppery, catty, crackberry, flowery feijoa and a rounded tropical sweetness of dragonfruit tempered by tart persimmon. Biscuit malt cloaked by a fruity caramel and pear undertones.

Pours a very hazy golden color with a very well retained one inch head that left ample lacing. Smells of tropical and citrus fruits along with some pine. Tastes of orange, grapefruit pith on the finish, melon, pineapple, crackery malts, floral notes and pine. Medium bodied and carbonated, dry finish and mouth feel.

Tall can....6/21/18...purchased at the brewery.

Full on heavily hazed NEIPA style pour....leaves a load of fine sheeting left on the glass....nice looking brew.

Pungent notes of soft citrus on the nose, tangerines, oranges, bananas.

Delicious, smooth, complex and heady stuff....9% nowhere in sight...waves of more oranges, tangerines, yes again a hint of bananas, kiwi, mango...wonderful creation...more outstanding brew from SCBC

Canned 06/21/18, it pours cloudy yellow gold-ish color like pineapple juice with a 1-2 finger thick foamy white head that was full of tiny bubbles, fading slowly and leaving very nice tiger stripes of foam lacing.

Smells of tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, lemon zest, melon, citrus hops, light piney notes, biscuit, mild floral notes, spices like coriander and soft peppery notes, candied sugar and finally sweet notes like fruity candy such as Razzles. The dry hopping is subtle in the aroma, but adds nice dynamics to the citrus dominant nose.

Tastes of melon, tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, lemon, pineapple, citrus hops, piney notes, biscuit, graham cracker, light floral notes, spices like coriander and mild peppery notes, candied sugar and then sweet notes like fruity candy like Skittles or Razzles. The dry hopping is more evident with tea leaf, grass and floral notes bringing herbal accents and a nice citrus sweetness.

Mouthfeel is creamy, buttery smooth and almost watery with very mellow carbonation and only a minor level of bitterness. Crazy smooth drinking for a 9% ABV DIPA, it's dangerously easy to quaff. Another winner from Sand City.
