The roasted malt sweetness comes through a bit on the nose, but way more so on the flavor. It cuts through the nearly black color like a ray of sunshine. The alcohol taste is present, but at 11% I'd be surprised if it wasn't there.

On tap at the brewery, this is the base beer for The Anatomy of Restlessness. It poured black as night with a small tan/brown head that faded in average time and left minimal traces of lacing. This should be labeled as a collaboration between Sand City / Evil Twin / Everbrew, but no big deal. It was very roasty and full of chocolate notes, hiding the ABV masterfully and going down quite easy. It's a bit thin for an imperial stout, but the rich chocolate malt flavor was delicious.
