This is a solid stout. It pours dark brown with an off-white head. The nose is roasted malt, which carries through the taste. I just want a longer mouthfeel. It's over too quickly for such a tasty beer. I did notice a bitter taste/mouthfeel towards the end after I was more than halfway through.

Growler pour.
Black with a nice mocha color thick two finger head.
Nose is rich, chocolate malts, sweet dark fruits, caramel and undertone of whiskey.
Mouth is rich, sticky, roasted chocolate malts and whiskey.
Hard to believe this isn't barrel aged and very drinkable for 12%.
Very well made straight up imperial.

Motor oil pour with big mocha head.
Very roasted all along, no adjuncts added, it's a real imperial stout even if I'm almost certain they used maltodextrin for the mouthfeel. A bit overly carbonated for the style.
Style a big roasty brew

Pours black witha tan head. smells like espresso. some maltiness. overall a bit to bitter for me - would have likes a bit more sweetness. Meh compared to other beers from Sand city.

Served in a red wine glass from the can.
Appearance: Deep dark brown to black body with medium bubbles creating a tan head rising roughly half a fingers length.
Smell: roasted dark espresso aroma which lingers in the nostrils once the beer warms, beautiful aroma.
Taste: Malty slightly smoked coffee bean. Comes off with a smooth mocha.
Mouth: this beer comes off incredibly sticky, coffee with a light brown sugar finish and lingers pairing with hummus and chips.
Overall: might be one of the best home grown beers here coming from Long island New York. I highly recommend you grab this if ever crosses your eyes especially if you're a fan of imperial Stouts. Salud!

Pours black with soft, milk chocolate colored foam.
Smell is roasty and rich, slightly sweet. Notes of coffee, chocolate fudge and some burnt sugar.
Taste is sweet and powerful, with notes of coffee, chocolate, fudge, brown sugar and a light charred note. Warmth brings out a bit of licorice as well.

Pours black with a quarter inch tan head that settles to an everlasting ring and leaves nice lacing. Smells of roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee. Tastes of dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, deeply roasted malts, caramel, toffee, toast and a hint of vanilla. Full bodied, creamy mouth feel, light carbonation and a dry finish,
