Really nice triple IPA of the NEIPA variety. Has the strong malt backbone and sweetness as you’d expect from a TIPA, but it’s not overwhelming. There’s a strong hoppiness that helps balance things out. Maybe a little astringent at the end of the sip, but it’s not offending to me.

Pours a fairly hazed amber with 2 fingers of tight ivory colored head. Superb lacing & head retention
S: Tropical & citrus fruits, wanted more!
T: Rich mango & papaya notes, very milkshakey, along with passion fruit, peach, dryness & Mandarin Orange up front. Pink grapefruit, mango, dryness & just a little pine sneeks in as this warms. Finishes with a subtle powdery dryness, mango, a little dry pineyness too
MF: Medium body, subtle carbonation, lovely balance
Through the roof drinakbility, ABV is superbly disguised, a worthy DIPA worth seeking out

Pours cloudy orange gold color with a 2 finger thick off white colored head that faded slowly and left excellent foamy lacing coating the glass. Looked as good as all the other SC anniversary series brews.
Smells of tangerine, pineapple, orange peel, grapefruit, papaya, Razzles candy or other fruity candy like Skittles, graham cracker, biscuit, caramel, brown sugar, melon and light floral notes that seem spicy. Gives off the illusion of balance even thought it's a juicy hop bomb full of citrus complexities.
Tastes of tropical fruit, tangerine, orange peel, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, papaya, lime, peach, light butterscotch, tea leaf, peppery spices, biscuit, toasted grains, graham cracker, light piney notes, Fanta orange soda and fresh cut grass. The malty notes are strong enough to add complexities and balance, but they allow the hoppy sweetness to showcase the citrus flavors. The taste trails off like tart orange juice with graham crackers pieces floating in it.
Mouthfeel is smooth with average carbonation, a mild bitterness level, a thickness to the liquidity and most impressively no alcohol burn for such a strong beer. This beer hides the 10% ABV masterfully and goes down easier than expected. This was canned on 03/14/19 and is very easy to drink even though this DIPA is green in the can still.

The best I’ve ever had from Sand City. It’s smooth taste hides the fact that it’s a 10.2% ABV.
