Medium orange-amber-gold and close to opaque... 3/15/19 canning...
Way deeper fruit notes than expected - dense, dank chewy candied fruits - not at all too sweet - very mild, but suggestive of mango, papaya, cantaloupe, and orange... Medium-bodied, it has some heft; bitterness is relatively mild, too... soft and round on the tongue, has a little lingering shellac of bitter fruit leather and pine resin...
I was a little put off by the big body and fleshy fruit notes, but the lack of a big sugar presence really turned me around and I was enjoying it way more than I thought I would after the first coupla sips...

Canned 3/15/2019
Pours a hazed & effervescent gold with a thumb+ of cream colored head. Slightly better than average lacing & head retention
S: Tons of citrus & tropical fruit notes; fades a touch down the stretch
T: Tangerine, grapefruit, passion fruit, green melon and a little cakey sweetness up front. Sweet orange, a little powdery dryness, a little pine, some pink grapefruit & kiwi fruit as this warms. Finishes pretty dry with pink grapefruit, & a little peach
MF: Medium body, smooth carbonation, great balance
Super drinkability, a lovely take on the on the style

Canned 03/15/19, it pours cloudy orange color with a 1 finger thick off white colored head that faded very slowly and left good spotty lacing. Smells of dank wet citrus hops, tangerine, melon, pineapple, orange peel, gummy bears, mango, faint brown sugar, grapefruit, caramel and then graham cracker and biscuit in the background. It may be dry hopped, but it smells super fresh and wet hopped.
Tastes of tangerine, grapefruit, melon, pineapple, orange peel, gummy bears, mango, lime, lemon, light floral hops and/or peppery spices, tea leaf, graham cracker, toasted grains and biscuit. The dry hopping is more evident in the flavor with those spicy hops cutting through the malty sweetness and bringing a lot of citrus complexities.
Incredibly smooth for a 9% ABV beer just canned yesterday, this was another delicious winner by Sand City. I'm not familiar with Dancing Gnome but this collaboration has me excited to try more brews from them.
