Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a hazy yellow with orange highlights with a frothy head.
Aroma is light tropical fruits, a little mango.
Taste is a pithy bitter hop with a sweet fruit note.

On tap at the brewery, it’s got classic SC hazy NE IPA looks that faded slowly and left really nice lacing. Aroma and tastes mostly of grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, pineapple and graham cracker, it hides the ABV masterfully and goes down easy with mild carbonation and a mid level of bitterness. Another fine DIPA by these guys.

poured into a teku glass via can (dated 6/6/2019)
color is a golden hazy orange
smell is sweet citrus (Oranges, Pineapple)
taste follows the nose nicely
medium carbonation
mouthfeel is sweet and creamy
the hops used are blended perfectly here to make one of my favorites of 2019 (so far...)

This is probably the first non-collaboration IPA that I’ve had from Sand City in quite sometime!!! Unless it was a collaboration, their rotating beers as of recent weren’t as good as before. Hopefully this DIPA series sets the tone for better brews to come.
